Acronyms
ABH - Another Bloomin Hill (CacheWalker’s bespoke Terrain rating!APINKE - Another Place (originally Park, in the US) I Never Knew Existed! Spoken 'Apinky'
BYOP - Bring Your Own Pencil
CO - Cache Owner
DNF – Did Not Find – Boooo!
FTF - First To Find (also STF, TTF, 4TF - Second, Third, Fourth)GZ - Ground Zero - the spot your GPS takes you to/ the Cahce location
LCL - Left Calling Card
PAF - Phone A Friend. Usually required for Webcam CachesT4TC – Thanks For The Cache
TFTC – Thanks 4 The Cache
TNLN – Took Nothing Left Nothing
TNLNSL – Took Nothing Left Nothing, Signed Log
Terminology
Muggles – Borrowed from Harry Potter, people who don’t Geocache!
Doggles – The dogs of muggles *lol* (though we refer to poor Kai as a Doggle!)
Muggled (Cache) - Generally used to describe any Cache which has gone missing, but more accurately means a Muggle has disturbed or removed a Cache
Muggled (You!) - A Cacher has been spotted by muggles whilst finding/ retrieving/ logging/ re-hiding a Cache
Cache and dash - A Cache that you can park very close to and usually find very quickly. Examples of these are Motorway Mayhems and SideTrackeds. Usually micros due to high levels of muggles and lack of hiding places!
